Why I love my job

One of the many blessings in my life , is that I have been able to work  at the Calhoun Antique Mall as store Manager and co-owner for 21 years , till Dec. 2015 . I starting my Estate Liquidation and Auction company in 2008  , I absolutely love my job because I get to meet and work with so many people daily and watching the transition of the job completed is very rewarding .The passed 22 years I'v had the opportunity to buy and sell a large variety of items  and antiques , giving me an advantage in knowing the true market value for merchandise. We have purchased and sold several estates completely, or at times just picked up a few items of interest when people call. The antique mall has over 75 dealers year round, most of them being from GA. and TN. ... What a blast. ...................'' WE HAVE SOLD OVER  A MILLION  ITEMS  IN CONTENTS.....!!!

In 2008 , I wanted to expand my horizons just a little and offer a service that I felt was needed,  I received my state license as auctioneer and opened another business , the CALHOUN AUCTION & ESTATE SALES LLC. Starting this company has been a very satisfying and rewarding adventure. I get to meet and help wonderful people in various situations; some moving out of state, some just need to liquidate their assets to get out of debt, and some needing help liquidating the estate of a loved one that has passed on. Offering this service is something that I really enjoy, getting to help people in a time of need. It is such a great feeling to shake someones hand, and them say thank you, and I know they meant it ..
